The video files on the DVD need to be changed to another format as Chris is not able to get the sound from the ones we gave him, and cannot edit them. We reviewed our originals to see what format they were in. We need to have burned the DVDs as 'data files' not DVDs. We opened WINTV and Power Director to try to convert the files but that didn' seem to be too quick a poject. Instead, we found, or it found us, a software to concert video calle "Prism Video Converter" and it worked like a charm. We transfered all of the video clips from mpeg to .mov and then Chris used them, rendered them when he added them to the time line and all seems well.
